Planes & Plane Paraphernalia

We love planes. Come to think of it we love aviation in general: flying, perusing auction houses and museums, admiring, collecting and storing planes.

Here’s a rundown of the items on block for our retirement sale:

There’s a Learjet on display at the airstrip that garners a lot of attention and is the version that the musical group, ‘The Mamas and Papas’, flew around in during the late 1960s.

For sale, though, besides the display planes like the Learjet are two helicopters — one, a Baby Bell currently on display at the Palm Springs Air Museum and the Bell H35 one of only two still known to exist. These were used to train helicopter pilots by various branches of the military.

We have three flying planes for sale: a 1973 Cessna Skymaster, a 1941 Stinson and a 1978 Beechcraft Musketeer.
